CoDeL commissioned a range of podcasts of young voices, from Uist and from Irish islands, during the Smart Islands Project. These island voices, captured in 2021 in particular, are still as relevant now as five years ago. The podcasts allow these voices to speak for themselves, rather than being interpreted through external lenses, narratives and frameworks that are so often imposed by external researchers.
